In a couple of days I will be headed to the West Coast. Hopefully the weather will be sunny and dry. It seems like we have traded weather with Seattle.
I promise to update my blog shortly. Just wanted everyone to know that we arrived home about 12:30 AM on Saturday morning. We had planned to spend one more night on the road, but just about Nashville we made the decision to let the horse run to the barn, all 645 miles. But we are home now and trying to catch up with mail and laundry. More later.

For those of you who are not from Metter, the Ohoopee is our favorite river! Today we traveled the Great River Road in Illinois from Louisiana, MO to Granite City, IL. Lots of photos and stories. We are at Giant City State Park in Illinois tonight. Using my phone as a hot spot just to get this posted. Plan to get into Tennessee tomorrow and home on Saturday. I promise to finish this blog. We have too many photos and stories not to share them with those we love. Quote for the day from someone we met, “Be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a great battle”.
